Flesh tones - in the nude

Drawing the human figure can be both inspiring and challenging. My paintings are figurative and revolves around the human body. Over the years of working on my canvases, the shapes and forms of the human body both male and female have evolved too, into my own mould. Nevertheless there is a lot of satisfaction painting a nude and bringing out the flesh tones, mixing the warm colors and using the play of light. While doing all of the above I make sure the end result does not look like a photograph and carries with it the magic the brush and only the human mind and skill can create.
